Please note that
these instructions can be used for all the printers listed above,
but the printers listed in red,
the instructions work only with "compatible" cartridges.
We do not recommend that the originals cartridges be refilled,
for those printers. |
 |
Along the top of
the cartridge you will find 2 indents, using the eye screw provided
make a hole in one of these..(Some cartridges have a ball bearing
instead, in this case push the ball bearing into the cartridge.) |
 |
Fill the syringe
with the appropriate colour ink. |
 |
Push the needle
into the filling hole, almost to the bottom of the cartridge. |
 |
Slowly inject the
ink, whilst withdrawing the needle. |
 |
When ink starts
to appear at the filling hole, stop. |
 |
Then draw a small
amount of the ink out of the cartridge. |
 |
Note it is very
important to inject the ink slowly, as this will avoid the ink
foaming and introducing air into the cartridge. |
 |
Do not reseal the
filling holes. |
 |
Return the cartridges
to the printer and run 1 -3 cleaning cycles as per your printer
instructions. |
 |
If the ink refuses
to feed |
Leave the cartridge to stand in the printer for up to 24 hours,
this will allow the ink to flow to the printhead and any trapped
air to work its way out of the top of the cartridge. |
