| ORIGINAL CARTRIDGE |

The original cartridges
have a complex siphon design. |
 |
To start you must
reset your original cartridge. Follow the instructions supplied
with the resetter. |
 |
Seal the out let
holes with strong adhesive tape. (These holes are located bottom
of the cartridge). |
 |
Drill two holes
in the cartridge with small drill or screwdriver. |
 |
The first hole
is to allow refilling of the cartridge and the second hole is
to allow the air to escape. |
 |
Assemble the needle
and syringe and fill with ink. |
 |
Inject the ink
EXTREMELY SLOWLY into the filling hole. |
 |
Black cartridge
will hold up to 25ml of ink. Colour cartridge will hold up to
10ml of ink. |
 |
When the cartridge
is full leave to stand for a few minutes. |
 |
Remove the tape
from the outlet holes. |
 |
Return the cartridge
to the printer and run a cleaning/priming cycle as per your
printer instructions. |
 |
Note.
If there is any air left in the cartridge, the cartridge will
not print correctly.
To remove the air, tap the side of the cartridge and leave to
stand overnight.
1. Tap the side of the cartridge.
2. Leave to stand overnight.
3. Inject more ink into the filling hole- without covering the
outlet hole.
4. Withdraw a small amount of ink from the filling hole. |

| COMPATIBLE CARTRIDGE |

The compatible cartridge
contains a sponge. |
 |
To start you must
reset your cartridge. Follow the instructions supplied with
the resetter. |
 |
Seal the out let
holes with strong adhesive tape. (These holes are located at
the bottom of the cartridge). |
 |
Enlarge the filling
hole with the eye screw provided. |
 |
Assemble the needle
and syringe and fill with ink. |
 |
Black cartridge
will hold up to 25ml of ink. Colour cartridge will hold up to
10ml of ink. |
 |
Insert the needle
into the cartridge as far as it will go. |
 |
Slowly inject the
ink. Making sure you do not over fill the cartridge, as leakage
may occur. |
 |
When the cartridge
is full leave to stand for a few minutes. |
 |
Remove the tape
from the outlet holes. |
 |
Return the cartridge
to the printer and run a cleaning/priming cycle as per your
printer instructions. |
 |
Note.
If there is any air left in the cartridge, the cartridge will
not print correctly.
To remove the air, try one or more of the following.
1. Tap the side of the cartridge.
2. Leave to stand overnight.
3. Inject more ink into the filling hole- without covering the
outlet hole.
4. Withdraw a small amount of ink from the filling hole. |

Blocked Cartridges
Place the blocked cartridge into ¼
to ½ inch of warm water.
Leave to stand for a few minutes.
When the ink begins to flow from the outlet holes, remove the cartridge
from the water and dry with a soft cloth.
Return the cartridge to the printer and run the cleaning/priming cycle
as per your printer instructions.
You may have to do this a few times until you regain the print quality.
Important : Always refill the cartridge
as soon as the warning light sign is shown.
