Refill instruction for
HP printer cartridges
 
For black cartridge : HP 51640 / No.40 - HP 51644 / No.44 - HP 51645 / No.45 - HP C6615 / No.15
For color cartridge: HP C1823 / No.23 – HP C6625 / No.25 – HP51641/No.41 – HP C6578 / No.78

Please use this description only, if you don't use our refill-system, otherwise follow the description of the refill-system
Turn the cartridge upside down, to remove the plastic film that seals the filling hole.
Using a ballpoint pen push the ball bearing into the cartridge.
Place the needle onto the syringe and fill with ink.
SLOWLY inject the ink into the filling hole.
Seal the hole with the stoppers provided. This must be airtight, if not the cartridge will leak. If the hole and stopper is not airtight then secure and seal with strong adhesive tape.
Turn the cartridge the correct way up, ink will leak from the print heads. Blot the print heads with tissue for 2 minutes to remove any excess ink.
Important - DO NOT leave the cartridge standing on the tissue.
Clean the syringe with water and dry it.
Leave the cartridge to stand on an non absorbent surface over night, to ensure no leakage.
Install the cartridge into the printer and run a priming/cleaning cycle as pre printer instructions.

Note: On the sticker on the front the color chambers are wrongly marked
The filling holes are located on top of the cartridge and are sealed with small-vented plugs.
Push the plugs into the cartridge using a ballpoint pen.
Assemble the needle and syringe and fill with appropriate colour ink.
Insert needle into the centre of the cartridge.
Important - The cartridge contains a sponge so a slight resistance will be felt.
SLOWLY inject the ink.
Blot the print heads with tissue to remove any excess ink before continuing next colour.
Important - Do not reseal the filling holes, clean syringe with water and dry before refilling with another colour.
Leave the cartridge to stand over night on a protective, non- absorbent surface to ensure no leakage and to give the ink time to saturate the sponge.
Important – Do not leave on tissue.
Install the cartridge into the printer and run a priming /cleaning cycle, pre printer instructions.
Blocked Cartridges
Place the blocked cartridge into ¼ to ½ inch of warm water.
Leave to stand for a few minutes.
When the ink begins to flow from the outlet holes, remove the cartridge from the water and dry with a soft cloth.
Return the cartridge to the printer and run the cleaning/priming cycle as per your printer instructions.
You may have to do this a few times until you regain the print quality.

Important : Always refill the cartridge as soon as the warning light sign is shown.
