| Black cartridge |

|
 |
Important - DO NOT
remove the top. |
 |
Enlarge the filling
hole. |
 |
Assemble the needle
and the syringe and fill with ink. |
 |
Push the needle
into the centre of the cartridge |
 |
Important - The
cartridge contains a sponge, so slight resistance will be felt. |
 |
SLOWLY inject the
ink. When the ink overflows from the filling hole, the cartridge
is full. |
 |
Do not reseal the
filling hole. |
 |
Leave the cartridge
to stand over night on a non-absorbent surface. This will ensure
that there is no leakage and allows the sponge to soak up the
ink.
Important - Do not leave on tissue. |
 |
Install the cartridge
and run a priming/cleaning cycle as pre printer. |
|
| 3-colour cartridge |

|
 |
The filler holes
are located under the coloured top of the cartridge. This top
needs to be removed before filling.
Use a penknife to break the seal by carefully scoring around
all four edges of the seal. (Colour cartridge only) |
 |
Assemble the needle
and syringe and fill with appropriate colour ink. |
 |
Insert the needle
into the filling hole (Making sure you have the appropriate
colour, see diagram above). |
 |
Important the cartridge
contains a sponge so slight resistance will be felt. |
 |
Slowly inject the
ink. Make sure you dont overfill the cartridge as the
ink could overflow into the over colours. |
 |
Repeat the procedure
for the other colours, making sure you clean and dry the needle
and syringe fully between each colour. |
 |
After refilling
reseal the top. The best way to do this is to use strong adhesive
tape from one side of the cartridge and over the top down the
other side. |
 |
 |
|
Blocked Cartridges
Place the blocked cartridge into ¼
to ½ inch of warm water.
Leave to stand for a few minutes.
When the ink begins to flow from the outlet holes, remove the cartridge
from the water and dry with a soft cloth.
Return the cartridge to the printer and run the cleaning/priming cycle
as per your printer instructions.
You may have to do this a few times until you regain the print quality.
Important : Always refill the cartridge
as soon as the warning light sign is shown.
